有考虑过搞个 MySQL 方案迁移到 LDAP 的工具,计划在 0.5.0 正式版和管理后台的第一版发布之后再来做这个。
大家耐心一些,给我点时间。
自带,使用的是 Roundcube webmail 和 SquirrelMail (可以任意选择一种或同时选择两种)

修改这个用户的 LDAP 参数,将 enabledService=displayedInGlobalAddressBook 去掉即可。
不知道能不能做到從人(ID)去改變組(groups),也能從組(groups)裡面去改變人?
可以。目前就是这样设计的。
(不知道這裡的groups是不是就是alias呢? 就是寄信給groups裡面的人都可以收到信? )
和 alias 是一个意思,实现方法也是一样的。
另外一個就是如果我把一個郵件帳號刪除了,那是不是所有groups裡面那個ID會一起刪除? 如果有這個功能會更方便。
是的。就是这样设计的。
对 groups 的管理目前只实现了:将用户指派到某个组。暂时还没有办法在组里删减用户。但是一定会实现的。
这要求一点都不高。可是安装文档这么基本的文档你咋不仔细看呢?
在此对本次发布的 0.5.0-RC2 的一些细节做一下汇报,以及透露一下 iRedMail
开发团队自行开发的管理后台的进展。
* 管理后台
目前已经实现的功能主要是对邮件域、用户、邮件列表、alias、管理员的
添加、删除、编辑域、用户、邮件列表、alias。
在以上基本功能基本完善后,会发布第一个正式版本,之后将陆续加入:
- 对黑名单、白名单的管理。
- 对 policyd 中实现的高级控制的管理(具体看下文)。

* iRedMail-0.5.0 支持的发行版及具体版本:
- RHEL & CentOS 5.x。
- Debian 5.x。
- Ubuntu 8.04, 9.04。
注:都支持 i386 和 x86_64 平台。
由于在所有支持的平台上都是使用相同的软件,虽然一小部分软件的配置文件
路径不一样,但是具体的配置和使用方法都是一样的。
建议大家选择自己熟悉的发行版。
* 支持的用于存储虚拟域和虚拟用户的存储后端:
- OpenLDAP (在 RHEL/CentOS 上是 2.3.x,Debian/Ubuntu 上是 2.4.x)

其中,基于 OpenLDAP 的方案是最完善的,包括内建的邮件列表支持,对各种
服务、功能的控制。并且即将推出的管理后台目前也只支持 LDAP。
所以强烈建议大家选择 OpenLDAP 方案。
* 提供的 webmail 有:
- Roundcube webmail 0.2.1
- SquirrelMail 1.4.19
以上 webmail 都支持全局地址簿,用户自行修改密码,自定义邮件过滤规则。
其中,Roundcube webmail 带有 AJAX 技术,用户交互方面更友好一些,操作
起来也更方便,所以强烈推荐使用 Roundcube webmail。
* 支持的针对单个用户与针对整个域的服务限制和功能限制:

此外,还可以控制是否将用户、邮件列表、alias 的邮件地址显示在全局
LDAP 地址簿中(此功能仅限于使用 LDAP 存储后端的情况)。
在 policyd 中还可以有更多、更高级的功能限制,例如针对单个用户进行
附件大小的控制,等等。但目前缺乏比较直观的用户交互配置工具,所以
可能大部分用户都没有用到这些功能。但是这些将会整合到 iRedMail
项目组开发的管理后台中。
* 内建的邮件列表支持(该功能仅限于 LDAP 方案)
从 0.5.0-RC2 开始,LDAP 方案中已经内建了对邮件列表的支持,不再
需要额外安装 mailman, ezmlm 等专门的邮件列表软件。
邮件列表的管理操作也将在开发的管理后台中实现。
* 改进的 Maildir 路径设计,更适合大规模部署的环境。
Maildir 路径已经有最初的 domain.ltd/username/ 改为:
d/do/domain.ltd/u/us/use/username/(其中 Dovecot 会自动在路径后面
加上 Maildir/ 目录),目的是为了加快内核在文件系统层面对文件的
索引速度,以是大用户量的情况下仍能得到较好的文件系统层面的性能。
Maildir 使用的是相对路径,而路径的前半部分决定了整个 Maildir 的
绝对路径。通过改变前半部分,可以很轻松地调整邮箱在磁盘、存储上
的分布。而前半部分则是控制在 LDAP 方案的 storageBaseDirectory 属性
或 MySQL 方案的 storagebasedirectory 字段中。当磁盘快满的时候,
可以通过设置不同的 storageBaseDirectory 路径,方便地添加新用户。
* 支持在所有外发的邮件中插入“免责声明”(disclaimer)内容。
目前实现的有:插入针对单个域、单个用户以及不区分域和用户的 catchall
的免责声明内容。
* 增加了两个小工具:
- 在用户邮箱容量达到指定的百分比时自动发送邮件通知用户及时清理邮箱。
- 批量导入邮件用户(仅用于 LDAP 方案)。
其它主要的功能如白名单、黑名单、灰名单等,仍然没有变化,但部分功能
可能已经得到加强。

* Hypervisor
+ Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.4 includes full support for the KVM
(Kernel-based Virtual Machine) hypervisor. KVM is integrated
into the Linux kernel, providing a virtualization platform that
takes full advantage of the stability, features, and hardware
enablement inherent in Red Hat Enterprise Linux. A wide variety
of guest operating systems are supported, including Red Hat
Enterprise Linux (versions 3-5) and Microsoft Windows (XP,
Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008). Guest operating
systems, both 32-bit and 64-bit, run without modification.
Paravirtualized disk and network drivers are provided for

Technology Previews
-------------------
Technology Preview features are included in Red Hat Enterprise
Linux to provide them with wide exposure. It is Red Hat's goal
to support these features in a future release of Red Hat
Enterprise Linux. Technology Preview features are not supported
under Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.4 subscription services and may
not be functionally complete. Red Hat welcomes customer
feedback and suggestions for Technology Previews. Advisories
will be provided for high-severity security issues in Technology
Preview features.

cluster nodes with GFS file system will allow the export of a
clustered CIFS filesystem. These components are provided in
an alternate child channel since they conflict with files
installed from the samba package in the Server
groups.

Installing the Software / Installation Numbers
----------------------------------------------
The ISO images contain the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.4 core
and optional components. Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.4 requires
users to enter an Installation Number that guides the Installer
to include the correct components. In the GA release, the
Installation Number will be associated with your subscription
entitlement. If you plan to install multiple systems using a
kickstart file, you can embed an Installation Number in that
kickstart file.
If an Installation Number is not entered, a core Server or
Desktop will be installed by default. Additional functionality
can be added manually or via RHN at a later time.

- KVM hypervisor cannot be selected as an option during a graphical
install. Kickstart based installs can select the appropriate
group "@kvm".
- FUSE kernel module is not present in the beta release

Bug Reporting
-------------
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.4 Beta testers who have assigned
Technical Account Managers (TAMs) should report all bugs with
this beta release using your current Issue Tracker account.
All other beta users should report bugs using Red Hat's
Bugzilla. To report and query for bugs in this Beta release,
you need a Bugzilla account with access to the "Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 5" product.
To report a bug via Bugzilla:
1. Login to the Bugzilla home page at http://bugzilla.redhat.com.
If you don't have an existing account, simply create one by
going to this page:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/createaccount.cgi
2. On the Bugzilla home page, choose the "New" tab. Proceed to
Step 3, "Choosing Your Product" by clicking that button at
the bottom of the page.
3. Choose Product "Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5".
4. Choose Version "5.4".
5. Choose the component against which you wish to report a
problem, such as kernel, glibc, etc. If you do not know the
component or want to file a bug against the general product,
choose "distribution" as the component.
6. Choose the platform, such as: "All", "x86_64", etc.
7. Provide the information about the problem you're reporting
by entering information in the appropriate fields. In the
Summary field, provide a clear and descriptive abstract of
the issue. In the Description field, state clearly that you
are using a *Beta* package and provide the full package
versions of any components you are experiencing problems
with (as packages may be updated).
8. Check to make sure that all information is accurate and
click the "Commit" button to submit your problem report.

As promised. No changes since v1.2.rc8 (except packaged in OS X, since CentOS 5 autotools didn't add support for configure --docdir).
Below are the largest changes since v1.1:
* When creating files or directories to mailboxes, Dovecot now uses
the mailbox directory's permissions and GID for them. Previous
versions simply used 0600 mode always. For backwards compatibility
dovecot-shared file's permissions still override these with Maildir.
* SQL dictionary (quota) configuration file is different than in v1.1.
See doc/dovecot-dict-sql-example.conf for the new format.
* deliver -m: Mailbox name is now assumed to be in UTF-8 format,
not modified-UTF7. Stephan Bosch's new Sieve implementation also
assumes UTF-8 format in fileinto parameters.
+ Full support for shared mailboxes and IMAP ACL extension.
The code is mainly from Sascha Wilde and Bernhard Herzog.
+ IMAP: Added support for extensions: CONDSTORE, QRESYNC, ESEARCH,
ESORT, SEARCHRES, WITHIN, ID and CONTEXT=SEARCH.
+ SEARCH supports INTHREAD search key, but the rest of the INTHREAD
draft isn't implemented yet so it's not advertised in capability.
+ THREAD REFS algorithm where threads are sorted by their latest
message instead of the thread root message. There is also no base
subject merging.
+ IMAP: Implemented imap-response-codes draft.
+ Thread indexes for optimizing IMAP THREAD command and INTHREAD
search key.
